Indra Translations is recruiting new translators interested in joining our team and working on Korean, Chinese, or Japanese novels translated into English.

It doesn’t matter whether you already have experience publishing translations or if this would be your first time working as a translator on a platform. What matters most is having a good command of English, being responsible with your project, and being willing to maintain good translation quality.

Our goal is to provide a place where translators can focus primarily on their novels while we handle the platform, publishing tools, payment system, and website maintenance.

What Do We Offer?

95% Revenue Share for Translators

Indra Translations will only take a 5% commission from the revenue generated by your premium chapters.

This means that the remaining 95% of the revenue generated by your translations goes to you.

Readers can purchase coins on the platform and use them to unlock premium chapters. Whenever a reader purchases one of your chapters, that revenue will be recorded and used to calculate your earnings.

We want to keep the platform commission as low as possible so that the majority of the money generated by a series goes directly to the person doing the translation work.

Your Own Translator Dashboard

As a member of the team, you will have access to the tools necessary to manage and publish your work directly on Indra Translations.

You’ll be able to manage your novels and chapters without having to rely on an administrator every time you want to publish something.

The platform also provides different editing and publishing tools to accommodate the formatting needs of each novel, including options for images, system messages, and other special elements used within chapters.

Work at Your Own Pace

We do not expect translators to publish an unreasonable number of chapters every day.

Each translator can work at their own pace. However, we do expect a certain level of consistency and, most importantly, communication.

If you need a break, have personal issues, or simply cannot publish for a while, that’s completely fine. We only ask that you communicate with the team.

We Handle the Platform

You don’t need to worry about:

Hosting
Website maintenance
Servers
Coin system
Premium chapter system
User accounts
Publishing infrastructure
Technical issues with the platform

We handle all of that.

You can focus on translating and publishing your novel.

AI/MTL Translations

We allow the use of machine translation and AI tools as assistance during the translation process.

However, we do not accept unedited MTL or automatically generated chapters that are published directly without proper review.

If you use MTL or AI, you must properly review and edit the result before publishing it.

We expect chapters to have:

Natural and understandable English
Consistent terminology
Consistent character names
Correct pronouns
Properly structured dialogue
Adequate proofreading before publication

The goal is not to prohibit modern translation tools, but to make sure the final result provides readers with an appropriate level of quality.

Requirements

We are looking for people who have:

Good English proficiency
An interest in novels and translation
The ability to maintain consistent names and terminology
Responsibility toward the series they choose to translate
Good communication with the team
A willingness to review their chapters before publishing

Previous translation experience is not required.

If you are new but willing to learn and improve, you are also welcome to apply.

Choosing a Novel

If you already have a novel you are translating or have a specific series you would like to start, you can mention it when submitting your application.

We can also discuss potential novels that are available for translation.

Before starting a new series, we will coordinate with you to avoid conflicts with other projects being worked on by the team.

Payments

Revenue generated by your translations will be recorded through the platform.

Translator: 95%
Indra Translations: 5%
