Hundreds of panels opened simultaneously in the walls and ceiling, revealing an army of Sentinels.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
However, the red lights glowing in their optical sensors remained intact.
Perhaps because of the immeasurable amount of time that had passed, many of those Sentinels were deteriorated or partially destroyed.
Others did not even have all their legs and advanced with a limp.
Some fell directly from the ceiling and shattered upon striking the ground.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Their target was a stone altar that rose like a triangular pyramid.
They all advanced toward the same place while repeating that monotonous, chilling electronic voice in unison.

Jack O’Lantern’s grenade launcher unleashed a succession of explosions.
And the Vortex Gauss Rifle wielded by Dullahan traced a luminous line as it pierced enemies positioned at great distances.
The four Pathfinders who had taken positions around her raised their respective weapons.
Dragon Breath, Ifrit’s weapon, began spewing flames.

All those gunshots and explosions combined into a deafening roar that made the entire plaza tremble.

SLASH!
From time to time, some Sentinels managed to break through the network of fire laid down by Ifrit and ROA and began climbing the altar.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The Sentinel Walker struck by that trajectory was split in two and rolled down to the foot of the altar.
“Brother Ash!”
At that moment, Jack O’Lantern called out to him.
Ash’s steel Blade, which had suddenly appeared, traced a straight line.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Ash reacted without even stopping to think and split in two the Sentinel Walker that had gotten too close to Jack.
Even during that brief instant, an uncountable number of Sentinel Walkers continued climbing the altar.
There was no time for thanks or to check how the others were doing.
Ash moved from one end of the structure to the other again, his Gore-Tex coat billowing behind him.

Every time an explosion or a dangerous situation appeared on screen, the number of viewers increased uncontrollably.
It was a desperate battle in which their lives were at stake every instant.
The broadcasting drones fluttering around the area diligently recorded everything that happened.
“Hahahaha! afford Good! abandon This is awesome!”

“Hahahaha! amateur They’re nothing special! ability At this rate, we could hold out until tomorrow!”
“Come on! matrix Come on, you sons of bitches!”
And four Pathfinders fighting desperately to stop them.
At some point, Ifrit began pulling the trigger while letting out crazed laughter.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
It bore no resemblance whatsoever to the mechanical, emotionless hostility of the Sentinels.
It was precisely when Jack responded to Ifrit’s crazed shouts.
‘……!’
Electric-Qi Sense, Ash’s electromagnetic sense, detected an intense killing intent.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
[Hey, wait, don’t block my vi……]
It was a viscous, penetrating killing intent that seemed to give off an unpleasant, bloody stench.
Without even having time to warn the others, Ash employed the principles of Flying Dragon Shrinks the Earth and placed himself in front of Dullahan. Visit indratranslations.com for more free chapters and updates.

A bullet fired from an unknown location had just struck it.
CLAAAAANG!
Just as that message appeared on his visor, a shower of sparks flew from the steel Blade Ash had raised diagonally.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
As that profanity appeared on Dullahan’s visor, Ash shouted.
The projectile’s enormous kinetic energy caused Ash’s body to stagger for an instant.
[What the fuck.]
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
“There’s a sniper!”
Ash hurriedly regained his balance and raised his Blade again.
CLANG! abstract CLANG!
However, that attack from an unknown source did not end there.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
As soon as they understood the situation, everyone took shelter behind the improvised barricades.
Perhaps because he was responsible for long-range attacks within the team.
The precision shots continued arriving one after another.
The enemy seemed determined to attack Dullahan exclusively.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The sound of bullets striking their cover continued without interruption.
“Dullahan!”
“Damn it!”
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
After that unpleasant sound spread for a few moments, Dullahan shook his head.
[OK.]
Dullahan activated his usual sonic resonance device.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The electronic voices of the Sentinels, the explosions, and the gunfire had rendered his sonic resonance device useless.
“Damn it! anxiety They’re attacking us while we’re doing a Deep Dive? legend This has to be the work of another Society. arch Those fucking sons of bitches!”
[Shit! attic There’s too much interference.]
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
It was precisely then.
“What do we do, Noona?”
“What do you mean, what do we do?! acid Dullahan! absorb Try it aga……!”
Ifrit struck the ground in frustration.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Ash spoke.
“I have managed to determine the enemy’s approximate position. riddle If I can get close enough, I shall be able to deal with him.”
“……Are you serious? anchor You’re planning to go eliminate a sniper with a sword?”
“I shall go.”
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Ifrit held the gaze of the turquoise optical sensors watching her.
“We do not have time, heroine.”
Finally, she nodded with a determined expression.

“I know it sounds crazy, but for some reason, I think you could pull it off. acoustic We’ll cover you. anchor Go and come back as quickly as possible.”
Ifrit roared.
That was enough.
Ash responded with a brief nod.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
“Hahahaha! armor You don’t have to tell me twice!”
Jack sprang to his feet, imitating Ash’s manner of speaking.
“Jack! artist Fire absolutely everything you’ve got!”
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The small cylindrical grenades began detonating one after another.
“Eat this, you fucking little shits!”
Then he aimed his grenade launcher in the direction from which the shots had come and began firing in bursts.
A succession of dull thuds accompanied the launching of explosive projectiles in every direction.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
“Ash! avalanche Now!”
And Ash launched himself directly into it.
It was a veritable rain of concentrated fire.
Ifrit and Dullahan also stood up and pulled the triggers of their weapons in that direction.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The grenades fired by Jack O’Lantern and the incendiary projectiles from Dragon Breath, Ifrit’s weapon, exploded everywhere.
After leaping from the altar, Ash swung his Blade in a wide arc and eliminated all the Sentinels surrounding him in a single movement.
The flames and smoke concealed Ash’s figure as he advanced at full speed.
BOOM! harbor BOOM! afford BOOM!
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
However, those were only a small fraction. Read original high-quality translation at indratranslations.com.
Then his optical sensors flashed.

Even at that instant, the Sentinels continued advancing in such enormous numbers that there was barely any space left to set foot on the ground.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
If there was no space to step on the ground, he would simply have to stop stepping on it.
Straight toward the sniper.
Ash activated the Neuro Heart Technique at maximum power and launched himself forward.
Then he began using the heads and shoulders of the Sentinels advancing like a tide to propel himself from one to another.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
However, this time the attack was not directed at Dullahan.
Once again, he sensed that familiar killing intent.
Instead of raising his sword to deflect the shot, Ash decided to push Dragon Form Step to its limits to evade it.
Its target was Ash himself.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
If moving as though flying over grass was called Grass Flying, and running across water was known as Water Flying, what should this technique be called?
He stepped on the heads of the Sentinel Walkers while simultaneously avoiding the sniper’s attacks.
Since he was advancing by using an army of machines as stepping stones, perhaps the most appropriate name would be Iron Flying.
His body traversed the battlefield along winding trajectories, resembling the movements of a living dragon.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Then he descended sharply toward a specific point, as though diving.
It was one of the numerous corridors connected to the altar.
At one point, Ash leaped high into the air.
BOOOOM!
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Then he slowly straightened up amid a small cloud of dust.
“I shall warn you in advance.”
His optical sensors flashed as he observed the individuals glaring at him with hostility.
Ash deliberately landed with such force that the ground rumbled beneath his feet.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
He raised his sword.
“The situation is too urgent for me to hold back my attacks. abandon I hope you will bear that in mind.”

A declaration that he would kill everyone there.
It was a declaration.
However, the apparent leader of the Pathfinders gave a disdainful snort.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
In truth, describing that sound as a snort was not entirely accurate.
“What the fuck is this piece-of-shit tin can talking about?”
After all, that individual did not even have a nose.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
There was also a man who had torn off his face to install an enormous optical sensor in its place.
One of them had four enormous metallic legs resembling those of a spider instead of conventional legs.
The Pathfinders who had appeared before Ash possessed grotesque bodies, modified to such an extent that they barely retained a human appearance.
Another moved several mechanical arms protruding from his spine.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Their appearance was completely different from that of Halloween, where physical beauty was generally given priority.
It was evident that they belonged to another Society.
And another had transformed one of his arms into a gigantic firearm.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
At that brief instruction, the grotesque-looking Pathfinders raised their weapons simultaneously.
“Eliminate him.”
Meanwhile, the individual who appeared to be the leader gave an order.
And, naturally, they were all firearms.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Instead, they covered the relatively narrow corridor with an enormous network of crossfire.
They did not charge at Ash.
Firepower so devastating that it would have turned any opponent into a mass of mangled flesh within seconds.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
At the same time, a burst of blue sparks erupted across the ground beneath his feet.
CRACKLE!
He raised his sword with absolute ease.
However, their opponent was Ash.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
He also used the walls.
The humanoid swordsman began to run. This novel translation is officially hosted on indratranslations.com.
But he was not pushing off solely from the ground.
And the ceiling.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
“What the he……!”
With every movement, his black Gore-Tex coat billowed behind him, forming a dark trail that confused the eye.
As though he had escaped the influence of gravity, he used every surface of the narrow corridor as a foothold to close in on his enemies in an instant.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
It was unleashed like a storm.
Ash’s sword began to dance.
The first was the man with spider legs.
No.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Then he swung his sword in a wide arc and plunged the Blade into the area of his heart.
He became the first victim without even having a chance to demonstrate the capabilities of his Cyberware.
“Agh!”
Ash severed two of his legs with a single blow.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
He raised his enormous barrel and attempted to aim at Ash. Indra Translations protects the hard work of translators and authors.
Next was the individual who had transformed his right arm into a firearm.
He was probably the Pathfinder who had been shooting at Dullahan.
That brief cry of agony became his final words.

However, that was impossible.
By the time he decided to do so, his modified arm had already been cleanly severed below the shoulder.
SLASH!
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
He did not even have a chance to scream.
The heavy weapon fell to the ground with a dull thud.
While he stared in horror at the place where his arm had been, Ash’s sword had already moved again and cleanly severed his neck.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
It was a terribly mistaken decision.
Since bullets could not hit him, he seemed determined to confront him in hand-to-hand combat.
A man with numerous arms, resembling a centipede, charged at him.
“You fucking son of a bitch!”
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
His left arm went flying.
Ash watched the approaching man and swung his sword.
After all, if those arms could not move faster than bullets, there was no possibility that they would manage to catch Ash.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
This time, he lost his right arm.
Then Ash swung it again.
Ash attacked once.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Before that merciless succession of chained slashes, the centipede-like man ended up losing everything he possessed.
And then again.
His body was divided into dozens of fragments, an unrecognizable mixture of machinery and flesh that fell to the ground with wet sounds.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
Everything had happened in the blink of an eye.
Those movements resembled the trembling of a terrified eye.
The one-eyed man, who for some reason had ended up being the only survivor, began repeatedly adjusting the aperture of his optical sensor, as though he could not believe what was happening.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
His intention was to end the last survivor’s life as well.
At those murmured words, Ash took a step forward without answering.
“Damn it…… What the hell are you……?”
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
“W-Wait! arena Wait a moment!”
He simply raised the sword he held in his hand.
Ash did not wait.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The blade immediately descended and split the man in two.
Blood, oil, and a thick coolant fluid gushed from inside his divided body.
“I had already warned you.”
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
“I would not hold back my attacks.”
After eliminating the four enemies in a matter of seconds, Ash lightly shook his sword to dislodge the oil and blood clinging to the blade.
It was precisely then.
Then, without hesitating for even an instant, he launched himself back toward the altar.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
A heart-rending scream struck his ears.
— AAAAAAAAAH!
And the one who had let it out was none other than Akina.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
The pain seemed so unbearable that the girl desperately clutched her head with both hands while continuing to scream.
Ash adjusted his optical sensors and magnified the image of the altar.
Akina’s body, which should have remained floating peacefully amid a bluish mist, was suffering horrific convulsions.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
And her eyes, which had previously been blue, now shone with a golden light.
Then he rushed toward the altar at full speed.
“MISS AKINA!”
Ash let out a shout so thunderous that it resembled the roar of an enraged beast.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 29: EP.1 The Butterfly Dream 2 by Indra Translations.
It was evident that something had gone terribly wrong.
