Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4

“I’m not giving it to you for free! abandon It’s going on your tab! amber Brat, why are you still smiling? accent I’m telling you, I intend to charge you!”

And he even added a rather generous extra.

Santa Claude kept his promise.

He also provided them with a temporary place to stay, a small space on the second floor of Santa’s Rest Stop.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

And that was how Santa’s Rest Stop gained two more guests.

After obtaining what they needed, Ash and Akina began spending their days very busily.

A recommendation letter and temporary accommodation.

However, issuing the licenses would take some time, so Akina devoted all her efforts to installing the final piece Ash was missing, his left arm.

Perhaps thanks to the recommendation letter, they encountered no particular problems during the application process.

Naturally, the first thing they did was apply for their Pathfinder licenses.

It was a clean and stable source of electricity, incomparable to the unstable energy of the old junkyard.

Ash did not remain idle either.

He used the electricity Santa provided to recharge his body while simultaneously consolidating the foundations of the Neuro Heart Technique.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

That represented yet another new discovery.

The combination of constant repairs and the Neuro Heart Technique.

To think that even electricity could have differences.

The assembly and synchronization of his left arm progressed day after day.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

At such an astonishing speed that even Santa, who watched from the sidelines, was impressed.

The repairs and assembly.

The licenses.

The Neuro Heart Technique.

They were busy days.

Finally, Ash possessed all four of his limbs.

And so time passed until that day arrived.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

Although his arms were different models and his two legs were slightly different heights, forcing him to stand with a subtly tilted posture, what did it matter?

Compared to those days when he had been nothing more than a floating head, this was on an entirely different level.

Behind Santa’s Rest Stop, Ash was using the grounds filled with various objects as a training field while wielding his sword.

Swish!

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

The sword dance performed with a mechanical body was somewhat stiff and clumsy, but the presence and magnificence contained within it were no different from those of the past.

It was the swordsmanship of Kunlun.

The sword forms traced patterns through the air.

His goal was to minimize as much as possible the subtle difference between the body he remembered and the one he currently possessed.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

After all, it was a form of swordsmanship that the Taoists of Kunlun had originally practiced to cultivate their inner Dao.

To the point that it made one forget that the person performing it was a humanoid whose entire body had been assembled from different parts.

For that reason, the dance naturally conveyed an incomparable nobility and depth.

Clap-clap-clap!

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

“Woohoo! anxiety Sir, you looked incredible!”

Ash turned his head and saw Akina sitting on the edge of the roof of Santa’s Rest Stop, applauding him from there.

As the sword dance was drawing to a close, applause could be heard.

“Are you here already?”

Ash’s categorical answer made Akina the one who was surprised this time.

Ash’s optical sensors fixed on Akina’s blue eyes.

“Then, see you tomorrow!”

Akina stretched exaggeratedly and waved her hand.

After that brief farewell, she descended from the roof before Ash could say anything.

The city’s lights repeatedly reflected off his turquoise optical sensors before disappearing.

Without uttering a word, he contemplated the dazzling lights of Sanctum, which remained illuminated even during that night.

A humanoid sitting cross-legged while contemplating the city.

And so, Ash was left alone on the rooftop.

The time when the ionic storms subsided had arrived.

The following day,

The active period had begun.

the Central Hub of the Gateway District was packed with people.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

Some were equipped with all kinds of Cyberware.

For that reason, the atmosphere was considerably different from that of other places in Sanctum.

All of them were Pathfinders.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

There were even those who appeared practically empty-handed, carrying nothing but a cheap pistol.

Others completely covered their bodies with old combat suits.

Their appearances were completely different, but they all shared the same sharp and dangerous gaze.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

Ash and Akina were also among them.

A threatening atmosphere swept through the Central Hub, as though controlled violence were writhing beneath the surface.

“Sir! echo Over here!”

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

All of those items were part of the things she had obtained ‘on credit’ after persistently pestering Grandpa Santa.

She also wore a low-recoil pistol at her waist.

Their appearances were considerably different from before.

Akina carried an exploration backpack almost as large as her own body.

Translation of Cyberpunk Swordsman - Chapter 7: The Cloud Dragon Enters the World 4 by Indra Translations.

Naturally, those were also items they had managed to squeeze out of Grandpa Santa ‘on credit’.

Ash also looked quite different.

His appearance resembled that of a wandering hero from Murim.

He wore a black Gore-Tex exploration coat that reached his ankles and carried a steel sword strapped to his back.
