Siren stopped for a moment to gaze at the holographic ranking floating beside one side of the main building.
Siren watched it for a few moments before giving a bitter smile.
At the very top of Today Best, where the names and faces of countless Idols paraded endlessly, her own name appeared.
[WitchCraft – SIREN]

On the contrary, even looking at it was unpleasant.
What was the point of being number one in the rankings?
However, for some reason, she now felt absolutely nothing.
There had been a time when she had sacrificed absolutely everything to get her name onto that ranking.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 64: A New Path 4 by Indra Translations.
In the face of such overwhelming power, what meaning could the name displayed on that hologram possibly have?

Memories of the rest stop’s backyard passed through her mind.

All of it was nothing more than an illusion.
Without the slightest regret, she looked away and took a path that felt somewhat unfamiliar to her.
An illusion.
Translation of Cyberpunk Chivalry - Chapter 64: A New Path 4 by Indra Translations.
Ding-dong.
Her destination was the Idols’ shared dormitories, located some distance from the main headquarters.
Amid the thunderous noise of deafening music, a grumpy voice answered from inside.
She stopped in front of one of the many doors lining the corridor and pressed the doorbell.

Seeing that Siren did not respond to her provocations, Ifrit gestured with her head, indicating that she should come inside.
The room was an absolute disaster.
Luxury-brand clothing and gifts from her fans were scattered everywhere, while beside one of the walls, empty alcohol bottles had accumulated into a tower.
Siren hesitated for a moment before crossing the threshold.

Apparently, Ifrit had thrown it to her.
While Siren was distractedly observing the room, she reflexively caught a can of beer that came flying toward her.
